PaperGraph, a family-run Greek print house producing packaging, labels, books, and commercial print from Loutraki since 1978, purchased two Heidelberg presses through allaoui on the same day in April 2022, then returned two years later for a Heidelberg CTP system to complete the upgrade.
Founded by Dimitris and Pigi Bourdi, PaperGraph today operates two production facilities in the Loutraki Industrial Park and nearby Corinth, employs around 40 people, and serves over 400 active clients across packaging, publishing, and commercial print. The company is now led by the second generation of the Bourdi family.
Two presses, same signature
On April 29, 2022, PaperGraph signed for two Heidelberg presses at once: a 2017 Heidelberg XL 106-8-P with LED UV, an eight-color perfector capable of 18,000 sheets per hour, and a 2011 Heidelberg XL 105-4+LX, a four-color press with inline coater. The XL 105 arrived first, delivered in July 2022. The XL 106-8-P followed in September.
For a company of PaperGraph's size, committing to two presses simultaneously was a significant move. The eight-color perfector with LED UV gave PaperGraph the ability to print both sides in a single pass with instant curing, a capability that opens up faster turnarounds on packaging and commercial work alike. The four-color press with coater added a dedicated line for shorter-run label and coated work, freeing the eight-color machine for the jobs that demand its full capacity.
Closing the loop with Heidelberg CTP
Two years later, in March 2024, PaperGraph returned to allaoui for a 2020 Heidelberg Suprasetter 106 CTP system. The platesetter was delivered within five weeks, completing a prepress-to-press workflow built entirely around Heidelberg technology. With plates now produced in-house on a modern system matched to the press formats already on the floor, PaperGraph shortened its prepress turnaround and gained full control over plate quality. From CTP through four-color and eight-color production, the Loutraki pressroom now runs on a single technology platform sourced through a single partner.
